Robin Coleman,
founder of this well loved and respected provincial decorative antiques
fair, has announced that the Fair is to be affiliated with West of England
Antique Dealers’ Association, following the first successful year
of the now independent Antique Dealer Association representing over seventy
dealers.
Now in its 19th year, the Fair will see a sea change this year when
Robin Coleman will take over the ownership and control following the closure
of the Bath and Bradford on Avon Antique Dealers Association.
A large contingent of overseas buyers is expected and several US trade
buyers have already booked in to visit the Fair. The stands were fully
booked by early December and the usual queue around the building is anticipated
when the Trade Opening Day will be on Thursday for the first time in 2008.

For collectors
and dealers alike it promises to be a feast for the eye with painted English
and Continental furniture, period and country oak furniture, homely English
Staffordshire, decorative accessories, garden items, textiles and much
more on display from exhibitors from across the UK.
A visit to the Fair may also be easy on the pocket -exhibitors donate
£25 to the Fair’s chosen charity and as a non-profit making
event prices are kept to a friendly level to encourage trade and public
alike to visit the splendid Georgian city of Bath each year.
All told it promises to be an exciting event, retaining its position
as a premier Fair in the antiques calendar.
Some free tickets available in West of England antique shops and from
the office.
